Shoulder and upper back strength are extremely important to any athlete’s health, longevity, and performance. The shoulders and upper back play an important role in your bench pressing, deadlifts, good mornings, and overall posture. These 2 exercises I learned from Donnie one of the successful strength conditioning coaches in the world. We use these both an upper body warm-up or to strengthen the shoulders. Both exercises have helped me overcome a lot of shoulder pain and weakness just by incorporating this exercise a couple times a week.
